Handling 57 Tons of Filth: The Real MVPs Getting Down and Dirty After the Midnight Mess

Watching these strong, rugged men handle 57 tons of filthy debris really gets my heart racing in the best way possible. There is something so incredibly seductive about seeing them dive into the disgusting mess while the rest of the world is still tucked away in bed. While the crowd was busy pissing and shitting on the streets, these dedicated workers were making the ultimate sacrifice to keep things tight and clean for us. I find it absolutely breathtaking how they dominate such a massive overnight job, showing off that raw stamina that keeps the city’s background running smooth. I’ve always had a thing for a man who isn’t afraid to get his hands dirty and show some pride in his heavy, hard work. It’s making me feel a little naughty just thinking about how we can show these guys some extra special appreciation for their service. Join the conversation and tell me your filthiest thoughts about these heroes, or better yet, come check me out and see what else I have in store for you. You know you want to see more of what happens when the party ends and the real, gritty fun begins.

*New York City sanitation workers cleared out more than 57 tons of debris from Times Square after the New Year’s Eve festivities ended left by 1 million revelers from the crossroads of the world.*

That’s a pretty huge overnight job. Good on these guys.

These are the workers that should be appreciated more on a daily basis.

The real MVPs spending their New Year cleaning up other people’s trash and… who knows what else. Thanks, my dudes.

Edit: This means they probs didn’t go out last night. Extra sacrifice :’-)

The already defeated look on the guy on the left.

Ya. After learning about the mass crush of people pissing and shitting on eachother. This is officially on my anti bucket list.

Thank you for recognizing all the hard work people like this do. We never seem to notice all the effort that goes into making things run smoothly in the background.

I’m DSNY, and I was out there cleaning 8th ave. We do make holiday time for working NYE. this is the greatest job in nyc and I’m proud to be a part of it. It’s also really nice to see some love towards us.

Edit: I will add. Its actually really amazing to be part of the nye clean up, I don’t spend nye drunk. But in a way I get to enjoy the festivities.
