Professor’s Fucked Up Ego, Drinks, And Me, Oh My!

Honey, let me tell you, some professors have a fragile ego, but mine? Forget about it! I’m here to spill the tea, or maybe the coffee, on this insane situation. Imagine the audacity of a teacher getting salty about a student’s drink! My eyes rolled so far back in my head, I swear I could see my own ass. Like, hello? We’re paying for this, and we deserve our caffeine fix. And let’s be real, you’re not going to stop staring at me as I take a sip. So, tell me, have you ever dealt with a teacher like this? What did you do? Come and share the chaos! And if you want to see more of me, let me know, darling.

He totally did, as I would not have watched to the end without him.

I’ve never had a professor care about drinks or snacks as long as they weren’t distracting, messy, or a hazard for some reason (ex. chem labs). Unlike high school, where some teachers didn’t even allow water in their classrooms.

I really admire her courage and her strength! I wish I was like her, but I’m not.

However, as a survivor, myself, I ask you all to PLEASE remember that all of us who have survived SA are badasses. My own STBXH went on a monologue about how badass some woman was who was able to fight off a would-be rapist and did not get raped. I said, “You are seriously saying that to me right now, knowing I was raped?” His response was, “Some of us would rather die than let that happen to us.” So I “let” myself be raped? I should have chosen to die instead? Some people are so fucking clueless and heartless when speaking to survivors. It is so hurtful to tell us we should have done ANYTHING differently as victims of crime, as people who were violated against our will!

Remembered she was a human being

I’m a professor. Never cared about someone having a drink. Hell, some students bring what look like whole meals with them.

We’re all busy. And god knows the students are paying a lot to be there. As long as it doesn’t distract others, eat a thanksgiving dinner for all I care.

In middle school I had a teacher that would scold you and give you extra homework, and I mean a lot of extra, for just checking the time on your watch or the clock that we had in class. She said that if we’re doing it means that we’re not really paying attention to her and deserved the extra work, which didn’t help people like me that did it out of habit. Needless to say that she didn’t last long as everyone complained about her

Edit: changed “wall watch” to clock, not native in English so I couldn’t remember the actual name at time of writing 😅

I would Never just assume that I’m invited, too

  10. redditdwarfbear:

Paying thousands to be there. She should be able to bring coffee

I had this happen. The teachers reason was I may have alcohol in my drink. I pointed to his desk. There was his coffee mug. I asked if he had alcohol in it. Then asked if a student was drunk it only affects themselves. If he was drunk it affected the entire class. He changed his policy next day.

I think that fucker was drunk.

  12. Dahdii:

I’m sorry but that is fucking hilarious. Lmao

The intense eye contact with the camera is the best 😂

  14. sustainablecaptalist:

This is what should happen to every camera placed in the gym 😂😂😂😂

    This is awesome!!

  15. Wiplazh:

At least she thought it was funny.

But don’t film in the fucking gym please

  16. Relevant_Demand7593:

    Hilarious 🤭

  17. Polkawillneverdie17:

    Stop filming in the gym!

  18. nitricx:

So technically he’s not wrong here. Gyms don’t allow you to record inside. Most at least. I’m assuming the polo shirt with the af in it the f stands for fitness so he’s probably just enforcing that rule in a funny way.
I got to a ufc gym and it’s ALL people with tripods recording themselves. Some actually look like they should be a lot do not and waste so much time getting the perfect shot it’s very annoying. I hate it so much, I don’t want to be in the background of your video or have to toe around like it’s a midfield to avoid the shot. Also I don’t want to wait for a machine while you try and get the best shot for your fans.
Someone should seriously invest in a gym specially for influencers and people who films. Give it great lighting, maybe mounts on the machines for phones or cameras. Just get them the hell out of the real gyms please.

    What a fucking badass

  20. Necessary_Space_7155:

Katy Perry unfairly got more attention than Amanda Nguyen and her nonprofit on/from that blue origin flight. A travesty.

  21. special-k-flo:

  22. latrodectal:

  28. 1Hasty:

    I feel very seen/attacked.

  29. meowiful:

I would just think I wasn’t invited *again*.

  30. VapoursAndSpleen:

People tell me about a great party and say, “Why didn’t you come?” and I tell them I wasn’t invited. They say, “Well you should have come anyway!” and I tell them, I have to know that the event is happening in the first place.

  31. yameteeeeeeeeee:

When people make plans in front of me I never know if I’m included. Once I got a call from a friend telling me they’re at my street to pick me up to go to a club. I was already in bed lol

  32. kamuimaru:

I will never understand why saying you’re going somewhere is considered an implicit invitation. Maybe you just want to let me know where you’ll be so I don’t wonder where everyone went. I don’t want to be rude by assuming I’m invited when I’m not.

  33. DisregardMyLast:

Ive said the same thing to people, however I dont believe I have autism.

Its cause I know I am no ones favorite person and I respect them by minding my own fuckin business.

Which I thought was a form of actualization but then I did have a therapist tell me that I appear to be “astonishingly self aware.”

…so now I honestly dont know how to take all that.
